Signs the job has gone quiet
- The office line rings out, and voicemail is the only answer you get.
- Emails and texts go unanswered after the first week.
- The people who came out are not the people who pick up the phone.
- Drying equipment is still running, and nobody has said when it comes out.
- Nobody has told you what happens next, or what the next step costs.
- Every call starts from zero, because the last person you spoke to has no notes.
If two or three of those match your house, the job has stopped, even if nobody has said so.
What happens when you tell us
Step 1: Tell us what is open. Give us the address, where the water was, when it started and what was done before the calls stopped.
Step 2: We call you back. The callback goes to the number you leave with us, so you do not have to chase it yourself.
Step 3: We go over the next step with you and help you plan it. You decide what happens next, and each option gets spelled out on the call.
What to have ready for the call
- The address, and the rooms that are still wet, open or dried out but not closed.
- The date the work started, and the last date anyone came out to the house.
- Photos of the open areas and of any equipment still in the house.
- The name of the company that stopped answering, and the last thing they told you.
- Your claim number, if an insurance claim is open on the loss.
Missing one of these is fine. Tell us what you have, and we go over it from there.
Why the equipment and the dates matter
A job with machines still running and no pickup date is a job someone should be reading closely. Each day the equipment stays adds to the bill, and each day without a plan adds to the damage that is still open behind the walls. So the dates matter as much as the photos.
Tell us the dates on the call and we go over what the open items mean for the next step. No number goes out on the phone before the facts are in. We go over the facts you have, and we help you plan from there.
What finishing the job can cost
The cost to finish a job someone else stopped depends on three things: how much is still open, what was already dried and what has to be rebuilt. Two jobs that look alike from the street can land far apart once the walls are opened.
The pricing page lists what drives the number. It does not promise a rate, because the rate depends on the house.
