Signs the job stopped for good
- The last visit was weeks ago, and the house looks the way it did on the day they left.
- Walls are open, and nobody has said when they will be closed.
- A subcontractor came once, dropped materials and never came back.
- The quote changed after the first visit, and nobody explained why.
- Items were moved, held or are missing, and the calls about them go unanswered.
Two of those is enough to treat the job as stopped.
What happens next
Step 1: Tell us what is open. Walls, floors, ceilings, equipment, and the date of the last visit.
Step 2: We call you back. On the number you leave, so the callback comes to you.
Step 3: We help you plan the next step. We go over what is finished, what is still open and what has to be written down before anyone new starts work on the house.
What to write down before the call
- Photos of each open area, taken before anyone starts again.
- The dates of every visit, and the last thing the company told you in writing.
- A list of any items moved or missing, with the room each one was in.
- The paperwork you already have, including the first estimate and any change orders.
A short list is fine. The point is to show us the state of the job, not to build a file.
Why a half finished job needs a plan first
A job that stopped in the middle has two kinds of open work. Some of it is damage that is still wet or exposed. The rest is damage that was started and needs a finish. Those need different decisions, and mixing them up is how a house ends up with open walls for months.
We go over which is which on the call. Then you decide the order.
What it costs to finish someone else’s job
The cost depends on how much is still open, what was already dried and what has to be rebuilt. A stalled job with dry walls and a finished floor costs less to pick up than one with open walls and wet subfloor.
The pricing page lists what drives the number. It does not promise a rate.
